Relaunch promotion completed

The relaunch promotion of JM is now complete and no more submissions can benefit from this campaign (see news item from 8 January 2018). However, JM is looking forward to receiving many more regular submissions. Reasonable article processing charges and member reductions are available.

Promotion for 2018

The Micropalaeontological Society (TMS) is pleased to be able to cover the article processing charges of the first papers accepted in the Journal of Micropalaeontology in 2018. The promotion is available for the first papers accepted in 2018 (at least five papers) until the funds have been used up, and will usually be limited to the first 10 printed pages of each paper. The first author must also be a member of the TMS, and details of joining can be found here:

New institutional agreement between the PIK and Copernicus Publications

Authors from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) will profit from a new institutional agreement with Copernicus Publications starting 23 August 2017. The agreement which is valid for the first author enables a direct settlement of article processing charges (APCs) between the PIK and the publisher.

Update of publication policy

The updated publication policy now is extended by the journal's open access statement, its archiving and indexing scheme, and explicit policies on corrections and retractions.

Revision of editors', referees', and authors' obligations

New display and citation guidelines for DOIs

To make it as easy as possible for users without technical knowledge to cut and paste or click to share DOIs, CrossRef has changed the display and citation guidelines for DOIs from "doi:10.5194/abcd" to "".
